Survey Administration – Outreach (booths at high traffic locations, or visiting encampments)
What It Is:
Outreach involves engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness in the community or high-traffic areas to conduct surveys. It helps to reach those who may not be connected to shelters or services.
Your Role:
You will be assisting with outreach efforts by either conducting surveys directly in the community or staffing booths at high-traffic locations. You will administer surveys and provide honoraria to those who participate.
- Conduct outreach by engaging with individuals in the community or at designated locations.
- Administer surveys and ensure accurate data collection.
- Distribute honoraria to participants and record their participation (confidentially)
- Ideally scheduled in 3 hour shifts, but we will work with volunteers to staff booths or conduct outreach based on their availability. We will not be staffing booths with less than 2 people at a time
- Training will take approximately 1 hour
- Booths will primarily be during day time hours but may have some opportunities for evening options
