The 2024 Porcupine Lake Community Cleanup will be held by the Friends of the Porcupine River Watershed, with support from the Rotary Club of Timmins-Porcupine, on Saturday, June 1st. During this annual event, volunteers spend a morning outside making a positive impact on their community by picking up litter in public spaces and along roads within the Porcupine River Watershed area, from Porcupine to Schumacher.
Volunteers are invited to join us between 9am and 9:30am to sign up at the White Waterfront Conservation Area, where we will coordinate a location to tackle and provide all the necessary supplies. All volunteers are invited for a free BBQ lunch at noon at the waterfront to celebrate this collective effort.
