Qui nous sommes

PAIL Network is a provincial program funded by the Ministry of Health as part of the DAN Women and Babies program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.  PAIL Network is working to bring peer support at no cost to anyone in Ontario who has experienced a pregnancy loss at any stage or an infant death under 12 months. This important work is informed by the unique grief needs of bereaved families as we advocate for equitable and appropriate support. We also provide education to health care and service professionals, so they are better prepared to offer skilled and compassionate care to families at the time of their loss and know how to connect families to support in the community.

Ce que nous faisons

PAIL Network’s peer support programs are available at no cost to families and have been tailored to meet the specific needs of people grieving this type of loss.  We are sensitive to the experiences and emotions that surround pregnancy and infant loss, because all of our trained peer support volunteers have lived experiences of pregnancy and infant loss. Our services are delivered in a variety of ways, including mixed group peer led support, loss specific online support, and one-to-one telephone support.       To learn more about the bereavement support for families, education and resources for professionals or our annual commemorative events, please visit our website https://pailnetwork.sunnybrook.ca/
