Qui nous sommes

MCC is a global, non-profit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion through relief, development and peacebuilding.

In all our programs we are committed to relationships with our local partners and churches — their needs guide our priorities.

As an Anabaptist organization, we strive to make peace a part of everything we do. When responding to disasters we work with local groups to distribute resources to minimize conflict. In our development work, we consult with communities to make sure the projects meet their needs. And we advocate for policies that will lead to a more peaceful world.

Ce que nous faisons

MCC works in 45 countries around the world. We partner with local churches and organizations with similar values to amplify our impact. Together we work in the areas of peace, relief and development.

In addition to MCC's international work, our provincial offices offer programs here at home, including work with Indigenous peoples, the criminal justice system and refugee sponsorship.

Our Timmins-based office focuses on Indigenous Neighbours programming which includes:

  • Facilitating opportunities for constituents to learn about Indigenous history, rights and concerns using workshops, speaking engagements, publications and online resources.
  • Supporting connections between MCC constituents and Indigenous partners to build respectful relationships.
  • Collaborating with Indigenous partners on advocacy to promote positive political, social and economic change for Indigenous Peoples.
  • Providing opportunities for international exchanges between Indigenous people.

In all programs we partner with Indigenous people, relying on their knowledge to guide our work.
