We're gearing up for the Keeping Seniors Warm event in Timmins taking place October 23rd, and we want to make this day as special as possible for the participants. UWCNEO Timmins will have 30 referrals from community agencies supporting older adults in our community. Clients will be paired with a United Way volunteer for a scheduled shopping appointment where they are provided with a credit to purchase winter gear. In addition to winter gear to keep our seniors warm, we will need help to fill goody bags with basic need items such as shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and more.
